Went for the first time couple of weeks ago. Boyfriend and I were both amazed. Food was served quick, portions were HUGE, and it was beyond delicious. Brisket is ON POINT. Took my son and bf’s mom with us next time, and all 4 of us had another top notch lunch. Burgers so good you’ll dream about them.

Best burger and fries that I’ve had in years!

Definitely the best burger in town! Me and my wife went for lunch on Tuesday for the first time and let me tell you if you haven’t been your missing out! I had the brisket cheese burger everything from the brisket, the burger and the fries are to die for! Will definitely be going in the future

The food is to die for and the portions are big. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, this food will have you coming back for more that’s for sure. You’ll be asking yourself why you didn’t come sooner and what are you gonna get next time you come. Support this local restaurant who gives back to the community. No one does it like El Vago.

I was in town from the 956 for a sold out Creed concert at American bank center and made absolutely sure to visit one of my favorite food spots while in corpus christi Tx. This was the third time I have visited and was very happy I did. I had the frumunder cheeseburger (double meat,chopped brisket, cheddar cheese pepperjacknacho cheese with some fries jalapeno bacon wraps and drink for lunch which was so delicious filling and held me through the night even after the concert. I got to meet the owner who was friendly and very sweet to hand me a copy of his cousins CD (Chino 818). Don't let the tattoos scare you, he is a really cool kind vato who gives back to the community every year. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. So if you're out and about or at home and looking for delicious food, you can stop by the shop or you can order for delivery through the favor delivery app. Please Support Local small business and keep them OPEN so I can return to visit when I'm back in the 3-6-1. First time here and it was ridiculously delicious and filling! Didn't get a pic because I dove right in but I had the El Guapo and the flavors of the different meats and cheeses was just . Definitely will be back!Okay so I've been back a couple more times and have had the hotdogs and brisket sandwich. It's been 3 for 3 and I am looking forward to trying something new next time!

So I finally got to go grubb at El Vago Burger & BBQ with my daughter and nephews. As we arrived we scoped our the many selections of a variety of plates, sides, items, etc. They names were funny btw, my nephew ordered the Fumunderburger. Which consisted on I believe dbl meat, cheese, w added brisket. He . Me and my daughter ordered the w brisket and . And let me tell you whhoooee then battered fries stayed crispy throughout the meal. Some jalapenos on top. Heaven in your mouth. Let me tell ya. Y'all have to go check it out, even when your not in the area. They will sell out of certain things, but they still offer a variety of items. Staff and owner were nice and tentative to all our needs! They also offer to cook your brisket for you.
